Scope of this version
VIN Recall Scan provides an in-browser VIN format check and a static reference preview. It accepts exactly 17 Latin letters and digits, excluding I, O and Q. This is not a checksum check, VIN decoder, identity verification, ownership search, vehicle history report or recall database query.
No safety conclusion
A valid format does not establish that a vehicle exists, is roadworthy, has no recalls or has completed any repair. “Not checked” means no recall lookup has been performed. The preparation animation represents local interface steps, not a live database search.
The preview and report button
The second window is a clearly labelled template preview. Its three cards contain editable static text. The Windows symbol is decorative and has no system action. “Get full report” is disabled: there is no full report, download, payment or purchase workflow in this build.

Confirm actual recall information separately with an official lookup or the vehicle manufacturer. External links are provided as references, not as evidence of a partnership or endorsement. This site is not affiliated with NHTSA, a vehicle manufacturer, or Microsoft.
